In the 70s and 80s, up to 650 jobs are created here, the business with classic suits under the label CRÉATION GROSS flourishing in Germany and beyond its borders. In 1991, the company presents a younger, personalized and slightly modified label. CRÉATION GROSS becomes CARL GROSS, named after one of the brothers of the founder August Gross.
In addition to the classic pre-order business, the first modular systems are launched successfully, making the company one of the leading specialists in Europe. The portfolio is continuously extended by flash and NOS (Never out of Stock) programs. With the launch of the more progressive, young brand CG in 2003, Création Gross GmbH & Co.
